Sam Perkins is the creator and CEO of Far From the Show Sports, as well as a featured writer for the site. Sam has been published in Minor League News, The Jewish Advocate, and The Lexington Minuteman among others, and has a column on Hoopville.com where he covers the America East conference Men’s Basketball. A graduate of The University of Massachusetts at Boston, he also completed the prestigious Sports Institute at Boston University, and is currently pursuing a masters degree in Journalism. Sam played baseball at the college level, and had the opportunity to play professionally. He currently resides in the greater Boston area.
